His experience spans over four decades, during which he has honed a unique blend of therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the individual needs of his clients.

One of Philip's key strengths lies in his empathetic approach. He is known for creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings. This environment fosters trust and openness, crucial for effective counselling.

Philip's skills are not just confined to one-on-one sessions. He is adept at group therapy, workshops, and seminars, demonstrating a knack for engaging groups and facilitating discussions that promote collective healing and support. He has lectured and trained counsellors, psychologists and psychiatrists in China, India, HongKong, Singapore and various other countries. He has been involved in humanitarian work in Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu and Fiji.

Academic Experience:

Philip completed his PhD in Clinical Supervision at Warnborough (Ireland) his supervisor was Dr Nadine Pelling a Clinical Psychologist from University of South Australia, his Bachelor's degree from the University of New England. Philip also holds 3 x Diplomas relevant to counselling and is an Adjunct Senior Industry Fellow at the University of South Australia and has consulted on curriculum's at some of Australia’s top Universities such as Monash, Queensland, Bond, QUT and Canberra. He was a regular guest lecture at Sunshine Coast University.
